SCTE Confirms 2019 Technology Innovation Award Winners

The SCTETM (Society for Broadband Professionals) has confirmed the winners and runners-up of its prestigious 2019 Technological Innovation awards at its Annual Gala Awards Dinner at Hatfield Old Palace on 29 June 2019. The competition honours innovative products, systems and concepts in the broadband industry.

“Best Broadband Network Transmission Solution”

Winner:          Bridge Technologies CO AS, VB330 with Remote PHY.

Runner-up:    ARRIS, Multi-Diode Receiver FTTH Network Technology.

 

“Best Digital Processing Solution”

Winner:          Harmonic Inc., End-to-End UHD HDR Solutions for Live Sports Streaming.

Runner-up:    OpenVault, ACS WiFi Insider.

 

“Best CPE Solution”

Winner:          ARRIS, G3 Premium Set Top Box.

Runner-up:    DCT Delta GmbH, Optical Mini Node Tuneable Wavelength.

The winner of the best overall submission and SCTE 2019 Technological Innovation of the Year Award was Bridge Technologies CO AS for its VB330 with Remote PHY. Last year’s winner was ARRIS for ‘Europe’s 1st D3.1 R-PHY Network – Stofa & ARRIS’.
