BOOK NOW FOR SCTE SUMMER LECTURE MEETING

Don’t miss the SCTE’s Summer lecture meeting at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford (UK) on 20 July 2011 – the morning’s presentations will be followed by lunch and afternoon tours of the aerospace exhibits at the museum.  Duxford is just south of Cambridge at Junction 10 of the M11 motorway, less than 50 miles from central London and approximately 40 minutes from the M25 (Junction 27). 

This year’s event welcomes speakers from Virgin, RGB Networks, Motorola and Arcom. The morning presentations will be followed by a networking lunch and tours of the aerospace museum. Presentations include:-

Best Practices for a Smooth Transition to a Multi-Screen Architecture - Simone Sassoli, Vice President, International, RGB Networks

 

The Next Generation Connected Home - Dale Barnes, Director of Advanced Technology and Innovation, Virgin Media

The HFC Return Path – Managing Growth and Maximising Throughput - Dr Robert Howald, Fellow of Technical Staff, Motorola Mobility

A Detailed Discussion on QAM Leakage Detection – Theory and Real World Results - Roman Pierzchanowski, Vice President of Sales in Europe for Arcom

As places are limited, SCTE members need to book in advance. Lunch and attendance is free for SCTE members and  a charge of £50 for attendance plus £20 lunch is made to non-SCTE members who wish to attend (although £20 of this fee is redeemable against first full year membership of SCTE if booked by end of August 2011).
