SCTE Opens Registration for Sixth Balkan Broadband Conference and Exhibition

SCTE™, the Society for Broadband Professionals, has opened registration for its sixth Balkan Broadband conference and exhibition, which takes place at the Holiday Inn in Belgrade, Serbia, on 2 October 2014. Building on SCTE’s success in the Balkan region, the event offers access to top-level keynote presentations and exhibition floors where investors, operators, technicians and installers can network with international vendors.

In cooperation with PUKOS (Business Association of Cable Operators of Serbia) and supported by SEEBC (South East Europe Broadband Council), the event will include a morning conference with keynote presentations from high-level officials and Balkan cable operators on broadband operations and strategy. Following lunch, attendees can visit some of the top vendors in the broadband and cable industry. Registration for the event is free for all professionals working in the broadband industry.

“In 2012, our sell-out Balkan Broadband conference and exhibition in Belgrade, Serbia attracted more than 400 visitors and 30 exhibitors. SCTE has a strong membership in the Balkans and a reputation as a leading broadband trainer in the region. It has already held a number of conferences, exhibitions and lecture meetings in the Balkans,” added Dr Roger Blakeway, President, SCTE.

The Holiday Inn is a 4-star landmark hotel next to the BELEXPO Convention Centre in the heart of New Belgrade (10-minute drive from the centre of the Serbian capital and a 15-minute drive from Nikola Tesla airport). The SCTE has negotiated special introductory reduced rates at the hotel for delegates, exhibitors and sponsors, and a range of sponsorship and stand packages are available at the event.
