21285 - SCTE Broadband Dec2021 COMPLETE v1

31 Vol. 43 No. 4 - November 2021 Issue from the industry On the other hand, we need a clear view on the Cybersecurity act REGULATION (EU) 2019/881 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 17 April 2019 on ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) and information and communications technology cybersecurity certification and repealing Regulation (EU) No 526/2013 (Cybersecurity Act). The knowledge of the Cybersecurity Act is essential for the work on the harmonized standards under the delegated act. The ENISA and ETSI procedure should be synchronised (ETSI has the leading role). Clarification on the ENISA ETSI agreement, which was sent from ENISA Board to the ETSI Board (Handling from ENISA Spec to ETSI TR or TS), is needed. For the declaration of conformity, the harmonized standards are relevant. The OJ (Offical Journal) of the EU Commission publishes the list of harmonized standards. Other regulations are not suitable for conformity (CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT MODULE A; CE marking and EU declaration of conformity). Otherwise, a notified body has to be involved. ANGA takes a positive view of the work, and we are sure that we can handle this topic together with the REG, ETSI and our community of telecommunication networks. At ANGA COM 2022, this topic will be discussed within the conference technology panels. Please note our call for Participation, which will be published at the end of October.
