Open-Loop Digital Predistortion for Amplifier Power Efficiency technical Alec Makdessian has 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, as an application engineer, marketing engineer, business manager, director and, most recently, as an executive director. His technical experience spans the areas of RF, data conversion, sensors, current sensing, temperature sensing and LED lighting. Alec holds a BSEE and an MSEE degree from the University of Texas at Austin (USA). Alec Makdessian, Executive Director, Core Product Group, Maxim Integrated Qian Yu has 20 years of engineering experience, as a co-inventor of over 20 US patents. He is a senior principal member of technical staff of Maxim Integrated, San Jose, California. His technical interests include communication systems, signal processing and integrated circuit design. Qian Yu holds a Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University. Qian Yu, Sr. Principal Member of Technical Staff, Core Product Group, Maxim Integrated Shannon Horwitz has 21 years of engineering experience, with the last 12 years in the semiconductor industry for Maxim Integrated as a design and applications engineer. As a principal member of technical staff, her experience has been focused on the Cable Access Market to include the RF-DAC and downstream cable modulator products whilst a member of CableLabs’ Full Duplex DOCSIS- 3.1 team. Shannon holds a BSEE from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (USA). Shannon Horwitz, Principal Member of Technical Staff, Core Product Group, Maxim Integrated
