Part 8 of BS EN50083 deals with emc for cable networks and the UK has an A-deviation based on MPT1510 and MPT1520. An A-deviation allows a country to apply its own emc specifications if they are a legal requirement and exceed the requirements of the harmonised standard. The SCTE has obtained copies of MPT1510 and MPT1520 along with MPT1570 and you can download them in pdf format.These specifications are Crown Copyright and made available in electronic form by kind permission of Ofcom.
