The SCTE holds free regular technical lecture meetings for members at selected international venues such as London (UK), Duxford (UK), Tirana (Albania), Skopje (Macedonia), Vermici Prizren (Kosovo) and Amsterdam (Netherlands).

Today’s cable professional needs to be aware of a range of different issues such as standards, installation, distribution, cost, service differentiation and network monitoring challenges.  Lectures from leading engineers in our industry are a regular feature of the Society's programme. The Society provides a platform at which topics concerning all members are presented and members can air their problems, share their experiences and exchange their knowledge and opinions.

A list of forthcoming lecture meetings is listed below. Lectures are free for members to attend, with just a small charge for lunch. All lecture PPT presentations are uploaded on the SCTE website for members and the filmed presentations are uploaded on the www.iet.tv website.
