100 Vol. 42 No. 4 - November 2020 Issue of -40°C to +65°C (or -40°F to +149°F) makes SI3000 Lumia deployable in both controlled and uncontrolled conditions, such as street cabinets. ”The SI3000 Lumia OLT is designed to fit high-density urban to low-density rural areas, while its modular design with multiple chassis options, and a variety of subscriber connectivity interfaces, address every possible use case in the broadband access network. Fully equipped with XGS- PON or GPON blades, it provides fibre-optical access to up to 36,864 users from a single chassis. Compact 1RU OLTs (SI3000 Lumia G16 and SI3000 Lumia XG4) are optimised for smaller deployments, addressing both residential and business users,” said Lindsay Broadband. Containing a central inventory and service repository, Iskratel told Broadband Journal that the SI3000 MNS also offers centralised network management and OSS/BSS automation, and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of broadband operators. The partnership between the two companies means that Lindsay also offers the Iskratel Innbox line of customer premises GPON and XGS-PON bridging ONUs, GPON gateway ONTs, Ethernet home gateways (RGW) and EasyMesh™ Wi-Fi® extenders, enabling triple-play services. Complying with the latest ITU-T G.984 GPON standard, Innbox GPON ONTs can offer high-speed connections, data rates of up to 2.5Gbps in the downstream and up to 1.25Gbps in the upstream. The WA 45 is a new device designed for signal monitoring and troubleshooting DVB-C/-T and -T2 modulated signals during installation and maintenance work on DVB networks. The loop-through RF connection enables the monitoring and measuring of RF parameters. The signal quality of continuous MPEG transport streams is also monitored according to TR 101 290 measurement guidelines (up to P1) for DVB systems. The WA 45 has a dual tuner for continuous round-robin scanning of up to 120 channels. With a maximum scanning time of less than three seconds per channel, with fully automatic detection of all channel options, the WA 45 provides a quick overview of the frequency band (including spectrum). If required, the second tuner can be fixed to a defective channel and monitored in detail 24/7. “The network operator can also send SNMP-based alarm notifications in case of failures or errors. The detailed channel configuration allows operators to switch off unrequired channels, therefore reducing the time needed to scan the entire line-up,” explained WISI. “The user-friendly WISI WA 45 has robust housing and can be linked to a network, PC or laptop via an RJ45 Ethernet connection. The device can be operated via a 230 VAC power supply unit or a 65 VAC power supply unit,” it added. The WISI WA 45 is available for monitoring DVB-C/-T and -T2 streams in a CATV network. WISI is a global system supplier in digital video and audio processing, Broadband Access and fibre optical solutions.
